Part Time Parking Enforcement Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitoring and enforcing parking regulations in designated areas to maintain traffic flow and ensure compliance with parking restrictions.
• Issuing citations and fines to vehicles parked in violation of town ordinances or regulations.
• Informing the public about parking regulations and encouraging compliance through effective communication.
• Responding to inquiries and concerns from the public regarding parking regulations and enforcement actions.
• Conducting regular checks to identify and address parking violations in high-traffic areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a U. S Citizen
• Possess a Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Graduate or possess an approved High School equivalent certificate
• Drug testing is required
• Must be able to speak and read the English language.
• Must be in a good state of health or condition.
• Pass a criminal background investigation
• Must be able to work in busy environments that are subject to interruptions
• Must be willing to work in all seasons and weather conditions.
