10th Annual Just A Party

The Mayor and Council will present the 10th Annual Just a Party on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 6 - 10 p.m. The rain date will be on Monday, September 29, 2014. Join us at Walgreen's Plaza on Franklin Avenue.

There will be the Cameos along with a line-up of other bands.

There will be rides for the children, along with games, popcorn, tattoos, face painting, ice cream, and much more! This is the time where the adults and children can have a wonderful evening, so don't miss this Belleville annual event.

If you are traveling to or from the Caribbean, know the facts about Chikungunya virus.

The Montclair Health Departments wants residents to know about a new mosquito-borne virus that is common in the Caribbean Islands.  The Chikungunya Virus has infected people living in or visiting many Caribbean islands, including the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico and the US or British Virgin Islands.

Essex County Senior Citizens Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program

Belleville residents 60 and older may be eligible for vouchers to purchase locally grown “Jersey Fresh” fruits, vegetables and herbs. To qualify for the $20 vouchers, an individual’s income cannot exceed $21,590, two member households cannot exceed $29,101.

Please call the Belleville Health Dept. at 973-450-3389 or 973-450-3394 to make an appointment to apply.  Identification is required in the form of a PAAD or Medicaid Card, or proof of annual income. Identity & residency proof will also be required.
