Facts About Ebola in the U.S.
The Essex County Office of Emergency Management has released a list of facts about Ebola:
- You can’t get Ebola through the air
- You can’t get Ebola through water
- You can’t get Ebola through food
You can only get Ebola from:
- Touching the blood or bodily fluids of a person who is sick with or had died from Ebola.
- Touching contaminated objects, like needles.
- Touching infected animals, their blood or other bodily fluids, or their meat.

Senior Health Fair
Clara Maass Medical Center along with Belleville Officials Mayor Raymond Kimble and Township Council celebrate seniors with the Belleville Senior Health Fair on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Senior Building, 125 Franklin Ave., from 9 a.m. to noon.

Come join in the fun at the Halloween Celebration on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Belleville High School Stadium. Rain date is Sunday, October 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be a costume contest, pumpkin patch, inflatable rides, hayrides and much more. This is a free event for Belleville residents.

The Belleville Health Department will be offering seasonal influenza vaccine for Belleville Residents beginning in September. Non-perishable food donations for a local food pantry would be appreciated.
