January 2025 - Officer Nicole Skelly
The Belleville Police Department is proud to recognize Officer Nicole Skelly as its first-ever Officer of the Month. During the course of an incident that occurred in January 2025, Officer Skelly displayed exceptional compassion and outstanding problem-solving skills, creating a positive bond with a young child during a very emotional time. She remained with the child, providing comfort and reassurance until the child could be safely reunited with her mother.
