The state Department of Education has assigned Thomas Egan as the New Jersey Department of Education’s State Monitor for the Belleville School District to oversee the Belleville Board of Education’s fiscal operations.

Mr. Egan announces a “Meet The Monitor” special meeting on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Belleville High School auditorium, 100 Passaic Avenue, Belleville NJ.

Mr. Egan welcomes questions from the public regarding his role and responsibilities in addressing the district’s deficit for the 2013-14 School Budget and the impact the deficit will have on the 2014-15 budget.
