Monitoring and Reporting Requirements Not Met for Belleville (NJ0701001)

Our water system violated drinking water requirements over the past year. Even though it is not an emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened and what we did to correct the situation.

We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether our drinking water meets health standards. During the first half of 2024, the second half of 2024, the first half of 2025, and the second half of 2025 we did not complete all monitoring for our established Water Quality Parameters which are pH and orthophosphate. Therefore, we cannot be sure of the quality of your  drinking water during that time.

The table below lists the contaminants we did not properly monitor and report during the last two years and how often we are supposed to sample.
