⚠️ Snowstorm Update – Sunday ⚠️
Posted January 23, 2026At this time, there are no significant changes in the forecast for Sunday’s storm. We are still expecting 8–12 inches of snow, with the potential for 12–18 inches, along with a coating of ice.
🚜 Public Works will be out in full force salting and plowing throughout the storm. For safety and efficiency, crews will prioritize main roads, hills, and emergency routes first.please go onto the Belleville Township website under the link of snow emergency please view the snow emergency streets. Please do not park on the streets. It is imperative that it stays clear as they are emergency routes. The police will be out towing
Secondary streets, dead ends, and cul-de-sacs will be addressed later in the storm as conditions allow.
❄️ This is expected to be a major snowstorm.
Please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
🚨 If you see a salt truck or plow truck, please keep a safe distance, do not follow closely, and allow crews the room they need to operate safely.
✅ As always, once the storm has ended, DPW will continue cleaning and clearing roadways.
🚫 Reminder: Do not throw snow back into the street. Please place snow on your property, not into the roadway.
