Be advised that this weekend, the State D.O.T. will resume construction on Washington Avenue.

On Friday, 08/15 at approximately 5:00 P.M., the intersection of Washington Avenue and Mill Street will be closed.  The construction crews will be working around the clock until the work is completed which will be sometime Sunday morning.  Only one Northbound lane will be open at Washington Avenue and Mill Street.  Southbound Washington Avenue traffic will be detoured West on William Street.  Buses and trucks will be detoured west on Belleville Avenue.  Access to businesses and residences will be allowed. 

NJ State Police will be on hand to assist with traffic control.  Please avoid the area and plan an alternate route.
