✅ Items Accepted:

• Herbicides & pesticides
• Paint thinners, solvents, and oil-based paints
• Stains, sealants, and pool chemicals
• Chemistry sets & photographic chemicals
• Automotive fluids (oil, antifreeze, etc.)
• Propane tanks (barbecue size)
• Fluorescent light tubes and ballasts
• Household cleaning fluids
• Lithium and NiCad batteries
• Mercury items & thermometers
• Gasoline, kerosene, aerosol spray paints
• Driveway sealers
• Fire extinguishers (home use)

🚫 Items Not Accepted:

• Latex paint
• Unlabeled or unidentified materials
• Asbestos & regulated medical waste
• Household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V)
• Commercial or industrial waste
• Smoke detectors & CO alarms
• Empty containers
• Explosives, munitions, or radioactive materials

Important Guidelines:

• Essex County residents only (proof of residency required)
• Not for commercial or industrial facilities
• Remain in your vehicle
• Items must be placed in trunk
• No containers will be returned
