Essex County is proud to support humane, effective, and free services to help manage feral and community cat populations through the Community Cats TNVR Program.

What is TNVR?

In a TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) program, cats are:

  • Humanely trapped
  • Spayed or neutered
  • Vaccinated
  • Returned to their home territory

This helps reduce overpopulation, minimizes nuisance behaviors (like spraying and yowling), and protects public health. Itโ€™s safer for the cats and for the community!

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Services Provided FREE of Charge:

  • Free training
