Wildfires are currently spreading across the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Nova Scotia. These wildfires are affecting the air quality throughout the Northeastern United States, including New Jersey. Essex County has also been impacted. Exposure to air pollutants can be hazardous to anyone, especially among sensitive populations including seniors, children, and those with compromised immune systems or lung diseases.
