Hurricane Ida Update - September 8, 2021
Posted September 08, 2021We continue to work closely with our County and State Officials. We are also anticipating that the County of Essex will be declared a Major Disaster area. Once this happens, we will make the most recent information available. You must also contact your local insurance company. Photos and videos will be extremely helpful when assessing the damage.
Our Department of Public Works will continue with the removal of damaged property throughout this week and into next week. We ask for your continued patience during this challenging period. Household garbage and recycling will be picked up on regularly scheduled days. Street sweeping has been suspended until Monday, September 13, 2021.
