A Message from the Township of Belleville Office of Emergency Management
Posted August 03, 2021The past 17 months have been a challenge that no one could have ever imagined. Through the course of this pandemic, over 5,000 Belleville residents and nearly one million people statewide have been impacted by this virus. You have probably read that the Delta Variant of the Corona Virus is on the rise. We all must continue to be conscientious, proactive, and considerate of our actions. Becoming vaccinated can help combat the spread of the virus.
Residents that are not vaccinated can visit the Essex County website at essexcovid.org to find a convenient location to receive the vaccination. Next Thursday, August 12, 2021 @ 6:00 pm, the Essex County Mobile Unit will be available during our Summer Concert, held in front of Belleville High School. This is a great opportunity to receive the vaccine, while listening to the sounds of NJ's favorite band, the Inferno's.
On behalf of Township Mayor Melham, the Township Council and Township Manager Iacono, we hope you come out, enjoy the concert, and consider receiving your vaccination. Thank you very much.
