The Township of Belleville has designated an area in front of Belleville Town Hall as an Internet Exchange Safety Zone.  The designated area is the walkway leading to the entrance to the Belleville Police Department/Town Hall on the Northside of the building.  Signs have been posted on the Police Department building to show residents where the area is.

Township residents no longer need to worry about having strangers respond to their residence to complete online sales transactions.  They can use this area to complete the sales transaction.  They do not need an appointment to use this area.  The area is monitored by video cameras.  If a police response is needed, they can dial 911, our non-emergency number at 973-450-3334, or simply respond to the police lobby.
