Belleville Police Armed Robbery Arrest
Posted August 30, 2020On August 28, 2020 Officers on patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop at approximately 1AM. The plates on the vehicle were reported stolen earlier in the week. The vehicle was also stolen from Belleville during the week.
Officers arrested Anthony Carbley, 19, from Belleville and Keith Mcnie, 18, from Nutley NJ. Inside the vehicle were numerous items believed to be proceeds from other crimes. Through investigation detectives linked the evidence to an armed robbery of a gas station in Belleville on August 25, 2020. Additional evidence linked both suspects to armed robberies in Newark, Paterson, East Windsor, Sayreville, and Old Bridge NJ.
