Posted March 21, 20208 Confirmed Positives cases in Belleville, with 5 Persons Under Investigation (pending). The 5 PUIs are yesterday's numbers, we cannot get access to today's numbers. For all confirmed cases, our Health Department performs ‘Contact Tracing Interviews’. The HD will be in contact with anyone they may have been in contact with. All will be asked to self-quarantine.

Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 107 further directs the closure of all non-essential retail businesses to the public, with the exceptions of:
• Grocery stores, farmer's markets and farms that sell directly to customers, and other food stores, including retailers that offer a varied assortment of foods comparable to what exists at a grocery store;
• Pharmacies and medical marijuana dispensaries;
• Medical supply stores;
• Gas stations;
• Convenience stores;
• Ancillary stores within healthcare facilities;
• Hardware and home improvement stores;
• Banks and other financial institutions;
• Laundromats and dry-cleaning services;
• Stores that principally sell supplies for children under five years;
• Pet stores;
• Liquor stores;
• Car dealerships, but only for auto maintenance and repair, and auto mechanics;
• Printing and office supply shops;
• Mail and delivery stores.

• ShopRite offers early shopping hours for Senior Hours and high-risk residents on Tuesdays, 6-7:30 am. Belleville’s Dial-a-Ride WILL transport homebound Belleville seniors during those times, call (973) 450-3402 to schedule by Monday at noon for Tuesday morning pick-up
• As of Monday, March 16, public access to Town Hall has been prohibited, unless residents have a prior business to complete, or have an appointment. We encourage all residents in need of municipal services to use our Municipal website to obtain email and phone numbers for all departments.
