COVID-19 Update: Wednesday, June 17, 2020

New Jersey is now in Phase 2 and multi-phased reopening’s are now in place. We continue to implore everyone to practice safe social distancing and strongly recommend wearing a face-guard when out in public. Reopening’s as of June 15, 2020.
- Restaurants and bars are allow to reopen for outdoor dining.
- Nonessential retail stores could permit shopping at 50% capacity.
- Child daycare centers are open with limited capacity.
- Libraries are able to provide curbside pick-up.
- Motor Vehicle Commission officer are providing pick-up drop -off services.
- The limit for outdoor gatherings is currently 100 people.
June 22, 2020 Reopening’s
- Hair Salons.
- Barbershops.
- Tattoo Parlors.
- Pools and outdoor, non – contact organized sports.
Residents who are symptomatic of the Coronavirus are encouraged to register for a COVID -19 test at www.EssexCOVID.org or by calling the Essex County Office of Emergency Management at 973-324-9950.
The New Jersey Department of Health Novel Coronavirus Call Center is open and is taking calls from the general public. It is open 24/7 and can accommodate calls in several languages. They can be reached at 800-222-1222.
