June 15, 2020 (Phase 2)

New Jersey is now in Phase 2 and multi-phased reopening’s are now in place.  We continue to implore everyone to practice safe social distancing and strongly recommend wearing a face-guard when out in public.  Reopening’s as of June 15, 2020.

• Restaurants and bars are allow to reopen for outdoor dining.
• Nonessential retail stores could permit shopping at 50% capacity.
• Child daycare centers are open with limited capacity.
• Libraries are able to provide curbside pick-up.
• Motor Vehicle Commission officer are providing pick-up drop -off services.
• The limit for outdoor gatherings is currently 100 people.

June 22, 2020 Reopening’s

• Hair Salons.
• Barbershops.
• Tattoo Parlors.
• Pools and outdoor, non – contact organized sports.

Residents who are symptomatic of the Coronavirus are encouraged to register for a COVID -19 test at www.EssexCOVID.org or by calling the Essex County Office of Emergency Management at 973-324-9950.

The New Jersey Department of Health Novel Coronavirus Call Center is open and is taking calls from the general public.  It is open 24/7 and can accommodate calls in several languages.  They can be reached at 800-222-1222.
