Coronavirus Update: Monday, May 4, 2020
Posted May 04, 2020Today Governor Murphy announced that New Jersey schools will remain closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. This past weekend passive County and State parks were open for non-recreational activities. While we realize it is great to be out in the warm weather, we must remind you that it is extremely important to be wearing face covers anytime you are outside. Our efforts are clearly making a difference and the entire Belleville Community should be proud. As additional restrictions are lifted we will provide the necessary updates as soon as they become available.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to greatly affect our Township. We implore everyone to follow Governor Murphy’s orders, to refrain from any social gatherings, and to practice social distancing when in public. Please do your part by wearing a face-cover anytime you are out in the public.
