  • Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency must be produced
  • All programs are free of charge
  • Completed application must be signed by parent/guardian
  • There will be specific dates for each respective program to register; notices will be in schools, newspapers and WBHS station
Summer Sports Camps At Belleville High School With CC Sabathia and Brian Kelly
 
Belleville High School will serve as a host site for two upcoming summer sports camps, a football pro-camp and a baseball pro-camp,  with two outstanding athletes available for the boys and girls grades 1 - 8 who register:

Belleville Little League Travel Team

The 5th Annual Hoboken Memorial Day Tournament began last Friday night in the cold frigid rain and ended on Memorial Day under clear sunny skies with the Belleville 12U Travel Team claiming the champions' trophy. 

The Belleville squad, comprised of Belleville Little League players,went undefeated in the tournament beating West New York {13-3), Hoboken {6-5),North Bergen {9-1), and NJ Prospects in the final championship game {8-5). 

The Belleville squad included Julian Todd, Richie Luzzi,Jared Simmons,Josh Rodriguez,James Cruz,Bryan De Freites,Chris Amparo, Brian Vilmenay,Brian Stambaugh, Sebastian Alverio, and Angel Rivera. The coaching staff included  Manager David Del Gaudio,and Coaches Angelo Rodriguez and Mike Todd.

The Belleville team also won some tournament events including Fastest Base Runner (Brian Vilmenay) and the Tug-a-War (Julian Todd, Sebastian Alverio, Angel Rivera, Brian Stambaugh,and Brian Vilmenay).  The Tournament MVP Award went to Richie Luzzi. 

The Hoboken Little League hosted the tournament and all the children were ecstatic to play on their beautiful field with the New York skyline rising up beyond center field.  It was Belleville's first appearance in the Hoboken tournament and the players and coaches are extremely proud to bring this trophy back to their hometown!

Professional Development Workshop Butterflies in the Classroom & Butterfly Tent Safari

 Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., Essex County Executive and the Board of Chosen Freeholders invite you to participate in a Professional Development Workshop Butterflies in the Classroom for Pre-Kindergarten to 4th Grade Educators on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Full scholarships are available for Essex County Urban Aid District teachers. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

Participate in the Butterfly Tent Safari at the Essex County Environmental Center from July 13, 2013 through July 27, 2013, featuring live butterflies and butterfly-themed programming for all ages. Open tent hours are from Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and Saturdays on July 13, 20, and 27 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. $2.00 suggested donation will go to the Essex County Parks Foundation.

Nature Explorers Summer Camp

 Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., Essex County Executive and the Board of Chosen Freeholders invite Children in Pre-Kindergarten to 4th Grade to Participate in Nature Explorers Summer Camp 2013 at Essex County Environmental Center. There are programs for children entering Pre-K to 4th grade. Re-registration and advance payment is required. Please make checks payable to "Essex County Parks System". Cash and money orders are also accepted. All camps run Monday through Friday and begin promptly at 1:00 PM. View registration flyer and form below.

All programs include access time in our new Energy Exhibits. Programs include Green Choice, This Green Home: Energy Conservation Choices, Science of Energy Lab, and Balancing Energy Needs with Real Life Issues - A Town Meeting.
